CAT Rugged Phones

Caterpillar’s rugged range of smartphones needed to become the phone of choice amongst rugged individuals who needed a phone that would survive in extraordinary conditions.

Having a basic website and no social media presence, the challenge was to build the brand’s online presence, connect with the rugged demographic and drive sales.

Having identified Facebook as the primary channel for the rugged demographic, we set about building a rich stable of rugged content that was engaging and highly shareable to drive brand visibility.

The website was optimised for search engines, to maximise traffic to the site. the website was overhauled with particular focus on user experience to drive sales for the handsets.

The Results: received over 100,000 website visitors a month and is on track to sell one million handsets in 2017.
